My cat eats ghosts

My cat is a soul eater. He told me so, in between mouthfuls of ghostly crumbs. "I eat everything, Gib!" He does not lie. Aki never lies. This must be why there are no ghosts in the house. Aki has eaten them all. He eats them the second they step into his domain, digests their wails in his stomach made of steel, and farts whatever indigestion he gets from eating too much and too fast.

There are plenty of ghosts in this city and yet, there are never enough souls for his big mouth. So every day, at the same time just before dinner, Aki yells at me for actual food. I asked him why does he eat them? And he says, they make his "tummy feel funny" 🙃 I think it must be like eating a harmless energy jellyfish. I don't know. I will never eat ghosts.

So ghosts? They move like scared lizards on the walls. The soul eater in this house is a fat cat and he is always hungry.
